Elisabetta Marino (Palermo, Italy 1989). She studied architecture and landscape at the University of Palermo and later graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in the same city.
Through the traditional languages โโof painting and a non-linear narrative structure, his research focuses on evocative images that are positioned in a zone of liminal time. She develops a personal vocabulary of tracks alienated to the limits of reality, sometimes using references to classical art grafted into pop drifts and postmodern syntax. To date she works with different mediums; from screen printing to digital collage, from video to sculpture with unconventional synthetic pastes.
She was the winner of the Factus award, and has collaborated several times with Verein Duesseldorf-Palermo. She participated in the Planeta Session / Moon project and some of her recent works have been chosen for the Ortigia Sound System Festival communication. Her works are part of the Soho House Roma collection.
